Installation

Installing the KidFit is a very simple job. The seat comes with lower anchor connectors to make it secure with the seat base. Release the orange button from the front side of the seat to release the connectors and pull them out. Attach the connectors into the vehicle’s lower anchors. Firmly press the seat and tighten the straps by pulling the strap from the front of the seat. You don’t need to achieve less than one inch of movement. If there is any slack on the Latch strap, remove it.

If there are no lower anchors in your vehicle seat, keep the connectors in the storage compartment. Buckle the seat with a seat belt when the child exits the vehicle.

The vehicle seat headrest should not push the booster headrest out of position. If it pushes the booster headrest, remove the headrest, or use the seat as a backless booster. CSFTL says that this booster will not be compatible in a high back mode in vehicle seats in forward-angled headrests, which are not removable.
